The story of Happy’Games: a collective adventure born from the passion of the game

Founded in 2014, Happy’Games has established itself over the years as a must-attend event for gaming enthusiasts, all generations combined. More than just a festival, Happy’Games is above all a human adventure, carried by volunteers invested and animated by the same desire: to share the pleasure of the game in all its forms.

Since its creation, the association has been conceived as an open committee, bringing together several associations and individual members from very different backgrounds. This diversity of profiles, experiences and sensitivities is at the heart of the project. It is precisely this broad and transversal vision that allows Happy’Games to propose an event of such magnitude, capable of reaching a varied audience and renewing itself year after year.
A commitment present from the first day

Since 2014, we have been part of the association’s committee and actively participate in the life of Happy’Games. This commitment is long-term and has never been denied throughout the editions. We are involved at every important stage: reflection, preparation, organization and conduct of the festival.

Historically, we have always been in charge of organizing card game tournaments, which are one of the pillars of the festival. These tournaments have become, over the years, highlights highly anticipated by the players, mixing competition, conviviality and respect for the game.

In addition, Ordiland Fantastik has been a partner of the festival since its beginnings. This historical partnership, present from the first editions, naturally explains why the festival is constantly promoted and supported: it is a commitment of substance, built in the long term.
A Presidency rooted in the history of the association

A central part of Happy’Games’ identity is that our colleague is also the president. Involved since the beginning, he took over the presidency of the association in 2017, ensuring a strong continuity in the vision and management of the festival.

This presidency, resulting from a collective functioning and a concrete knowledge of the field, guarantees a coherence between the founding values, the expectations of the public and the reality of the organization. It directly contributes to the strength and credibility of the event.
More than a festival

Around Happy’Games today gravitates a rich ecosystem: partner associations, loyal volunteers, independent members, animators, publishers, specialized shops and of course an ever-growing audience. Each edition is the result of a collective work undertaken several months upstream, made possible by the complementarity of skills and points of view.

Happy’Games is not just a few days of festival. It is an active association for more than ten years, a pluralist committee, and a collective dynamic that allows to build, year after year, a major event while remaining faithful to its values.
